Small Groups

What Are Small Groups?

And every day, in the temple and in their homes, they continued to teach and preach this message: The Messiah you are looking for is Jesus. Acts 5:42

The book of Acts describes how the early church started and operated. They not only met at a weekly service, but they met on a daily basis in small groups at different homes throughout their cities.

Jesus used the small group model with His disciples. This allows them to build quality relationships, minister to one another and be released to reach the unchurched world.

At House of Praise International, we value people. We believe that strong, personal relationships are vital for a strong community. Therefore, we have built within our church a small group system which models the early church. These groups are dispersed throughout the region and meet at different times throughout the week. These groups are rapidly growing in number and strength.

Why Should I Join A Small Group?

Small Groups create a place for weekly accountability and support for spiritual, emotional and physical needs.

Small Groups are a place where you, as a member, will be encouraged to grow in prayer, worship and in the knowledge and application of the Word of God.

Small Groups provide a safe place to bring your friends and relatives who may have reservations of attending a church service.

Being in a Small Group also makes you part of a team that works together to win souls and make disciples throughout our region.
